As the Director of this institution, I am honored to introduce Mount Carmel Christian Academy. It was in the early nineties, during the summer of 1991, that a few acquaintances from Chhutmalpur met me in Dehradun and expressed the need for an English-medium school, requesting me to establish one.
After much consideration over a year, a group of like-minded individuals came together, studied the need, and visited and surveyed the area multiple times. Recognizing the pressing local requirement, we decided to move forward. Thus, in June 1992, MCCA was established in a rented premises at the central market area of Chhutmalpur.
After more than three decades of dedicated effort, it gives me great satisfaction to share that over 1,000 students have received a strong academic and moral foundation from this institution.
It brings immense joy to reconnect with our former students often, who have passed through MCCA’s doors over the years. Witnessing their growth into capable, responsible, and respected individuals across the nation and abroad fills our hearts with pride and satisfaction.
After much waiting, MCCA is now moving towards high school recognition from a competent Board of affiliation beyond its current grade 8th level. Wishing all the best for MCCA as it continues to grow and upgrade.
