    FEE PAYMENT

    General rules relating to fee payment

    1 Fees must be paid in the bank between 1st to 15th of every month.
    2 Late fee of Rs 100/-will be charged if fees is paid after 15th of the month.
    3 If 15th falls on a bank holiday, fee must be paid the next day in the school.
    4 One month fee discount will be given on Tuition fee if the whole years fee is paid in advance by 30th April 2026.
    5 Annual fee is to be paid in TWO installments by 15th June 2026 and 15th September 2026. After 15th of the month, a late fee of Rs. 100/-will be levied.
    6 February 2027 and March 2027 fees must be paid by 15th February 2027.
    7 Fees can be paid by NEFT also (A/c No. 3351201000104, IFSC: CNRB0003351). After payment, a screenshot of the transaction should be sent via whatsapp to the following number 6399970939, failing which it will be considered as pending.
    8 Transportation charges are applicable for 11 months and should be paid each month.
    9 No fee is refundable.

    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

    1 Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline. Late comers and students in improper uniform will be disciplined appropriately.
    2 Remark or notes made in the diary by the by the teacher must be seen, read and countersigned regularly.
    3 Parents are requested to check their child’s homework and sign the diary every day.
    4 Parents must attend Parents Teachers Meeting regularly and must personally collect report cards on the allotted day.
    5 Parents / Guardians are welcome to take prior appointment to meet the Headmaster or Principal for any important reasons related to their ward.
    6 If there is a government notification for the closure of the school, or by a competent authority (D.M or Educational officer) Mount Carmel Christian Academy will remain closed.

    RULES FOR USING THE SCHOOL BUS

    1 Use of the school bus is a facility provided by the school and not a right.
    2 Those student availing bus facility must be at their stop five (5) minutes before the allotted time.
    3 Conveyance facility cannot be withdrawn mid-session.
    4 Notice in writing must be given to principal in the month of February if a parent wishes to withdraw their child’s conveyance facility for a new academic session OR one month conveyance charge in lieu of the notice must be paid.
    5 Conveyance charges are to be paid for eleven (11) months.
    6 Routes of the school bus can be obtained from the school office.
    7 Any request for change in the routes or stop for the school bus to suit an individual’s convenience in not entertained.
    8 Small children must be received at the stop by a parent /guardian. If no one receives the child at the bus stop the school does not hold the responsibility for the safety of the child.
    9 Requests for one way use of school bus will not be entertained.
    10 Transportation charges will be increased any time due to the increase in the operational costs
    11 Indiscipline, use of abusive words, quarrelsome behavior and disrespect to the staff or any other objectionable behaviors by the child in the bus will make him /her ineligible to use the school transport.
    12 Bus facility to the student may be withdrawn anytime without any prior information if there arises any practical problem in operating the vehicles in any routes.
    13 Parents are requested not to argue with the driver or helper if there is any problem, but may visit /contact the office to solve it.
    14 The drivers are authorized to stop the buses at the decided stop only unless otherwise directed by the school authorities.

    TEST, EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION

    1 There will normally be no re-test or examination.
    2 A student who uses unfair means in a test or examination will be given zero. Repetition of the offense will result in dismissal.
    3 Parents must collect the progress report from their class teacher/office on the allotted day. Report Cards will not be handed over to relatives/ friends.
    4 Promotion is on the basis of the whole year’s performance and the decision of the principal is final and binding.
    5 Parents should not be upset when a child is genuinely sick during tests, if the child is working consistently. Such cases will be decided on the basis of the entire term’s work. A certificate from MBBS/MD doctor must be submitted.
    6 As per the notification dated 21st December 2024 from the Ministry of Education if a child is failing in one or more subjects he/she will not be promoted to the next class.

    ABSENCE FROM THE SCHOOL

    1 Pupils who are absent from school for genuine reasons are requested to bring a leave application signed by the parent/guardian.
    2 The parent/guardians are expected to fill the leave record of their ward given in the school diary.
    3 If leave application cannot be sent on the same day, then intimation of pupil’s absence should be given by telephone.
    4 Leave due to illness for a period must be supported by a medical certificate from a registered MBBS doctor.
    5 A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious / contagious disease should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate.
    6 Every student should have a minimum of 75% attendance. Failing which a student may not be permitted to write examination.
    7 Attendance must be for a full school day. Student 's are not allowed to leave the school before school gives over except in case of extreme emergency which should be reported by the parents /guardians personally. In such case the child will not be allowed to leave the school unless personally collected by the parents.

    WITHDRAWALS

    1 Notice of withdrawals must be given one month in advance by parents or else fee for the following month will be charged.
    2 Transfer certificate will not be issued until all dues of the school are cleared.
